From the Autocrat

The Archery Field at Punderson State Park has a lot of space, but not a lot of shade. I suggest that you bring portable shade and chairs for your day-camping, as well as sun-block. Also, as the park has a lake, smaller bodies of standing water, and woods, insect repellant is highly recommended.

As mentioned elsewhere in this announcement, the Park has a Grand Lodge, cottages that can sleep six (with a kitchen and shower/bath), and spaces for tent camping. If you are interested in any of these, contact the Park to see if space is still available. http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/punderson, or call 440-564-2279.

Punderson Lake’s marina is a short walk from the Archery Field, for those who own kayaks/canoes/small Viking ships, etc. There will not be a bow-fishing demonstration.

No formal lunch or evening feast is planned. There will be an open snack bar for event participants from 10:30 to 4:30 with nibblies, proteins, and water. There are a few large coal burning grills available around the pavilion.
